A successful Danish - Ukrainian cooperation in between two NGOs,
which are both members of INFORSE

The activities included:
- Reports were written on the Ukrainian opportunities for biomass, wind, and solar energy
- “Zelena Energetika”, magazine was published
- A sustainable energy exhibition was made and was shown in more than 12 locations around Ukraine and was seen by more than 10.000 people.

These were some of the results of the NGO cooperation project, during the first 10 months of 2001. In the project, the Future Age Energy (FAE with new name: REA) and other NGOs in the Ukrainian Working Group on Climate Change have co-operated with, the Danish Organisation for Renewable Energy (OVE), to increase public awareness of sustainable energy in Ukraine.

The project’s two main participating organisations, FAE (REA) and OVE, are both members of INFORSE-Europe.

The project was supported by the Danish Ooutdoor Council 's Small Project Fund for Central and Eastern Europe.
The Outdoor Council is a non-governmental organisation founded in 1942. It operates as an umbrella organisation, today with 94 individual national member organisations. They cover outdoor recreational activities as well as nature protection interests More information: http://www.friluftsraadet.dk click to English Flag.
