Description and Evaluation

ESEEF is a network established at a Conference in 2000, in the framework of an ALTENER project by organisations and institutions working with sustainable energy and education on primary and secondary school level. The school4energy website has links to organisations in 11 European countries, and a database of materials, places to visit and examples.

The ESEEF database was reorganised and renewed by an EU SAVE program"Kids for Energy" involving 9 organisations. The new database is placed under the web site of ISES. You can choose from 10 languages to get places to visit, material and examples. Most titles and descriptions are available in the native languages like French, German, Hungarian, Bulgarian etc.

The title of the new project is Evaluation of Energy Efficiency Information, Education and Training programmes targeting at Children and Development of Best Practice.

Tthe milestomes of the project were educational conferences:

- Copenhagen, 21-22 September 2004. See the Kids4Energy Conference Proceedings
INFORSE-Europe activities were also presented.

- Budapest, April 6-7, 2006. See INFORSE-Europe report here

The project developed a card and role play called Energy Education Cards. It is reviewed among the the games in this web site here. The description of the game is available in Danish, French, English, and German.
