Change Agents for a Green Society with Focus on Renewable Energy for District Heating, Ukraine

INFORSE-Europe has started a project with partners for transition of Ukrainian towns to renewable heating, replacing gas with local renewable energy in district heating. In 2022, we are developing plans for 3 towns.

Other activities are:

  • Develop a catalogue of green heating solutions for district heating
  • Analyse the potentials for geothermal heat and waste heat in Ukraine
  • Improve catalogue of simple energy efficiency measures

Project partners: Nordic Folkecenter for Renewable Energy, Ecoaction (Ukraine), Renewable Energy Agency - NGO (Ukraine), and INFORSE-Europe, The project is supported by New Democracy Fund, Denmark.
