Azur Flame, Education Biogas Center in Central Kasakhstan
A center for education in and promotion of biogas and other renewable energy use in Central Kasakhstan. A partnership of INFORSE members ECO-Museum, Renewable Energy Agency (Ukraine) and INFORSE-Europe. The center is supported by the European Union.
Center for promotion of biogas and other renewable energy for local use, in particular in rural areas. It is aimed at the introduction and dissemination of biogas technologies in Central Kazakhstan to improve the economical, environmental and social situation in rural communities.
The most important of the centers activities are:
-group edu-cational training,
-consulting, and
-designing services related with biogas technologies.
In addition to that, the center is advocating for national and local policies to encourage rural groups, families and entrepreneurs to use of renewable and repaying sources of energy.
The center is placed in Karaganda, Central Kasakhstan and is hosted by Karaganda Regional Ecological Museum. The center and its activities are made with the support of INFORSE-Europe and Renewable Energe Agency - NGO (Ukraine). Financial support is from European Community - EuropeAid.
